PROJECT INFORMATION

After major hail storm damage, Blacktown Leisure Centre relied upon JetBlack Plumbers to repair 120 square meters of twin poly skylight sheeting.

SCOPE OF WORKS

  • Completed risk assessments and appropriate permits to perform the works
  • Notified personnel in work areas
  • Created exclusion zones with barricades and signage
  • Carried out waterproofing of mechanical exhaust fans above the basketball arena
  • Removed damaged skylights
  • Supplied and installed new twin wall Thermoclear Polycarbonate skylights, H bar gaskets & rubber seals
  • Supplied & installed new aluminum framing for new polycarbonate skylight sheeting

  • Minimal disruption to leisure centre operations
  • Project completed on time and within budget
  • Worked closely with site manager to schedule all works
