Anglicare approached our team to address a pressing issue: the replacement of a sewer service damaged by tree roots. This problem posed concerns for health, safety, and operational disruption. The project's scope involved assessment, repair, and replacement of damaged sections with a focus on preventive measures. The expected outcome was the restoration of full sewer service functionality, ensuring the well-being of Anglicare's residents and the integrity of their property.

SCOPE OF WORKS
- Conducted a comprehensive on-site risk assessment to ensure the safety of personnel and the project environment.
- Implemented an exclusion zone with temporary fencing to safeguard the work area and prevent unauthorized access.
- Carried out precise service locating to identify and avoid potential underground services within the excavation area.
- Employed mechanical excavation methods to dig a trench measuring 22m x 1m - 1.5m deep efficiently.
- Removed and replaced 22m of 100mm earthenware pipework with new 100mm PVC pipework to enhance sewer system performance.
- Seamlessly connected three existing junctions to the new sewer line, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Supplied and installed two inspection openings raised to ground level, facilitating easy maintenance and monitoring.
- Backfilled the pipework with suitable materials and filled the trench with existing spoil, ensuring structural integrity.
- Conducted a thorough cleanup of the project site, leaving no debris or safety hazards behind.
- Provided a 3m skip bin for efficient removal of project-related waste materials.
- Supplied a 5-ton excavator for the project's duration, supporting excavation and construction activities.
- Replaced existing turf to restore the site's appearance and functionality.
