PROJECT INFORMATION

The Ponds Village contacted our team to install potable water main isolation valves. The valves were necessary to isolate the supply for maintenance and repairs, but also allows the village to be able to shut off the flow of water to specific sections in the case of an emergency, such as a burst pipe or flooding.

SCOPE OF WORKS

  • Supply and installation of new water mains of over 500m of new HDPE water service
  • Supply and Installation of over 50 x HDPE main isolation valves
  • Supply and installation of 2 main valves for each street
  • Supply and installation of main path valves for each ILU
  • Supply and installation of Ductile Iron Valves
  • Supply of manual & mechanical excavation
  • Supply and installation all backfilling materials
  • Testing and commissioning of potable water services as per Australian Standards
  • Supply of as-built drawings on project completion
  • Supply of Certificate of Compliance for each service

  • Close communication and coordination with site managers and all key stakeholders
